Collaborate with graduate students and faculty from several disciplines on projects that have real-world impacts.

Resources for Graduate Students

  • Housing information

You’ll live off campus as a graduate student. Housing and Residential Education is happy to provide some information to help you find your new home.

  • Life in Denver

Many universities are positioned near a metropolitan city or the great outdoors. We have both. Imagine yourself climbing a mountain at 14,000 feet on your day off, only to come down in the evening to go to an NFL game or see the Colorado Symphony. That’s what our city provides — diversity in life and recreation.

    Our Booming City and Economy

    • 14th ranked city in the country for Educational Attainment (WalletHub)
    • 68.1 percent of internships in our city are paid, the sixth-highest percentage in the country (Time)
  • Transportation

Our students in participating graduate programs have free access to Denver’s RTD transit system, with a light rail station on the north side of campus and two bus lines running through. Many students also bike to campus, and parking permits are available to buy.

  • Our graduate student services

Our Office of Graduate Education can direct you to academic, health and career resources here on campus. We also provide information, forms and support related to graduate student policies, including dual degree approvals.

    Information for Current Students

  • Our financial support

Through our various financial resources, our graduate students receive over $165 million in funding annually.

  • Career & Professional Development

Our Office of Career & Professional Development provides our graduate students with career support tailored to their fields of study. We help our graduate students find their career paths and develop their professional goals.

    • Receive advice on common job search items like cover letters, resumes and CV’s, interviews, career assessments and salary negotiations
    • Search for jobs and internships, RSVP for career events, schedule career appointments and review DU alumni career paths
    • Attend DU’s career fairs, workshops and events — hosted all throughout the year

In addition to Career and Professional Development, we also have additional units on campus serving specific student and alumni populations.
