Ombuds Office

The Ombuds exists to promote collaboration and support the constructive resolution of conflict related concerns among the campus community. We honor the dignity of all visitors to the office, and follow the Standards of Practice, a Code of Ethics of the International Ombuds Association.

DU's Ombuds is a confidential and informal resource to help people navigate various concerns. The Ombuds Office at the University of Denver supports faculty, staff, students, and their families who may be experiencing concerns that have been difficult to navigate on their own. The Ombuds can help people make sense of challenging situations and connect them with the University's policies, procedures, and resources. The Ombuds can pay attention to patterns in how DU's responses and resources are working and assist in creating systemic solutions.
